What's This About?

Hi. My name is Stacey. I am a partner in several moderately successful (and growing!) Internet businesses based in Virginia.

It happens everywhere. In waiting rooms. At the hair salon. On planes. Whenever people ask me what I do, inevitably complete strangers are compelled to share their dreams of owning a business and want to run their ideas by me. I love to listen and try to help whenever I can. Today I decided to start a blog and share my thoughts on building a business with whoever happens to wander onto these pages.

It seems that the Internet has brought out the entrepreneur in everyone these days. The neat thing about it is that anyone, truly anyone, has the chance to launch a successful business. Rags to riches stories abound. This is America - home of the entrepreneur. Be one.

Having been a partner in a business since 1999, I can't say that I've been there and done it all. No way. However, I have encountered a lot and learned a ton. Since I'm still in the midst of it all, my experiences are fresh and therefore my opinions may be interesting.
